Our work together is focused on supporting this innate wisdom for healing and how we Nourish ourselves, our Whole Self.
We will be exploring and addressing your ‘Foods’, your Life, your Stressors with guidance for How to Reduce, Replace, Repair and Renew.
This Process of Exploration begins with a Health History— listening to your unique ‘story’, your timeline, diagnoses, root causes, the ‘what’s going on in there’. It’s understanding your personal constitution— who you are in relation to dealing with situational stressors, how you make and change habits, what your beliefs are in relation to health and wellness— to then begin to support and encourage self-nurturing, nourishing, dietary and lifestyle modifications.
While it is a life-enhancing move to ‘step into the kitchen’, and that Green Smoothies, Bone Broth, Dark Leafy Greens, Herbs & Spices may offer healing agents— they alone are not just the prescriptive antidotes.
It’s Nutrition integrating the Whole Self-- Sustainable Nourishment with Mindful Choices— with an aim to strengthen the body’s antioxidant defense, support the immune system, reduce inflammation, create more calm and move from Surviving to Thriving.
It’s through that lens why I also complement this work with deep release yoga and other tools— pathways to openings of deeper relaxation to further assist your individual needs of finding more energy, inner balance and peace.

Yoga & Deep Relaxation
Experience Svaroopa® Yoga— a therapeutic, supportive and meditative style of Hatha yoga with an emphasis on releasing deep core tension along the spine and throughout the body. This healing approach reduces stress, soothes the nervous system, increases vitality yet leaves you feeling blissful and rested.
The gentle poses (asanas) are frequently supported, using blankets, blocks, and other props to hold the body in the pose, thereby creating a ‘core release’ for those deep spinal muscles. AnyBODY can practice Svaroopa® yoga, as it is a non-athletic, holistic form of self-care.
Svaroopa® yoga is extremely helpful for people who have back or neck pain, or other chronic conditions, and have not found other healing modalities that have worked well for them. The release of spinal muscles begins at the tailbone and works up the spine to the ribcage, neck and head. Clients often notice improvement and increased comfort after their first class.
Deep Relaxation ‘Stress Blaster” weaves a guided supported shavasana— a resting pose which promotes awareness and relaxation— along with a guided breathing practice and meditative contemplations.
Experience this restful yet restorative antidote to the stress response— calms your cortisol, eases anxiety, quiets the body and mind.
Sandra has been a yoga instructor for over 12 years and had been practicing and studying Svaroopa® yoga for over 20+ years with Master Yoga teacher Polly DiBella.
Svaroopa® Yoga Basics and Deep Relaxation ‘Stress Blaster’ sessions are offered as private, semi-private— available by appointment.
